Uraltrac Ltd. to become part of vertically integrated Uralvagonzavod Scientific Production Corporation

A special vertically integrated structure is to be set up in Sverdlovsk Region; it will be called Uralvagonzavod Scientific Production Corporation and developed by Rosprom, the PR Director of Uralvagonzavod Production Association Boris Mineev said to UrBC representative.
‘The structure will consist of nine industrial enterprises, seven institutes, and four drafting departments. So far, the following companies have applied: Uraltrac Ltd., Electromachine Scientific Production Association, Uraltransmash Federal Unitary Enterprise, Kamensk-Uralskiy Foundry JSC, and Rubtsovsk Machine Building Works. The project has been under development for four years already, with the last 18 months devoted to final stages. This holding is expected to increase its output by 2.5 times within 8 years,’ Mr Mineev said.
