July 25, 2014. The trade union of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s Rubtsovsk subsidiary joined the 1st trade union conference for young workers from military-industrial enterprises based in Altay Territory. The conference took place in a picturesque forest on the outskirts of Barnaul and gathered together young people from nine defense enterprises, Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

On the first day of the conference, an action training took place under the guidance of experienced professional hikers; in the evening, teams made their company presentations, and the team of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s Rubtsovsk subsidiary won the first prize in this contest. The representatives of Altay Federal Scientific & Production Center came second, and Vostok Barnaul Special Design Bureau came third. On the second day, there was a workshop and an interactive tourist game called Adventure Roller Coasters, with some elements of rescue operations. The Rubtsov subsidiary team came third and was outstripped by the teams of Barnaul Machine-Tool Plant and Rotor Altay Instrument-Making Plant. As for individual competitions, Rubtsovsk employees Alexander Sarychev and Vassiliy Artebyakin were the first and the second prize winners.
