Uralvagonzavod Thanked for Contributing to Sverdlovsk Region’s Industrial Development

The workers of Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation were thanked by Sverdlovsk Region’s Minister for Industry & Science Vladislav Pinayev for ‘their great contribution to the development of Sverdlovsk Region’s industrial potential and economy, for strengthening its partnership ties, and for their noticeable activity in the Ural Chamber of Commerce & Industry,’ Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s press service reports.

A recent meeting dedicated to the 53d anniversary of the Ural Chamber of Commerce & Industry included award-giving ceremonies for a number of companies, with Uralvagonzavod receiving a special one. The corporation’s integrated structure currently comprises over 25 enterprises, some of which are based in Sverdlovsk Region. The corporation’s parent company – the Nizhniy Tagil-based Uralvagonzavod – is the Chamber’s oldest and most active member.

The Ural Chamber of Commerce & Industry is now one of Russia’s largest in terms of the amount of services it renders, and is also No. 1 in some respects. Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation hopes that the Chamber will soon become Russia’s leading chamber, and the company is to contribute greatly to the achievement of this goal.
