UrBC, Moscow, May 21, 2019. Some two hundred people took part in Raspadskaya’s job counseling forum for high school, vocational school, and college students in Mezhdurechensk; the event was coordinated by EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company, their PR Department reports.

Students from ten different schools in Mezhdurechensk, students of T. Gorbachev Kuzbass State Technical University’s local subsidiary, Mezhdurechensk Mining & Construction School, and Tom-Usinsky Energy & Transportation School all came to the forum.

‘The forum opened with a movie about Raspadskaya, one of Russia’s largest mines. The movie was made in celebration of the mine’s 45th anniversary. The forum participants then went on to work in five different sections. They took a virtual tour of a mine (the tour was designed by the company’s IT specialists) and worked on unusual cases prepared by EVRAZ business system team. The company management also shared their success stories with the young men and women present. The students also met the leaders of EVRAZ youth movement and young foremen who told them about the professional growth opportunities the company has to offer and about the youth council’s corporate projects. A special section was dedicated to schools and colleges that focus on training workers for the mining industry and cooperate with Raspadskaya Coal Company,’ the PR Department says.

The forum closed with a sum-up of the proceedings and a Q&A session where the company’s managers, heads of vocational schools and colleges, and Mezhdurechensk Council officials answered the students’ questions. Raspadskaya Coal Company’s HR Director Andrei Chirykin said they would be happy to welcome young, proactive professionals to make part of the team.
