Governor Dubrovsky Approves of Urban Improvement Projects in Chelyabinsk

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, October 16, 2018. Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Boris Dubrovsky took a tour of the facilities in Chelyabinsk that are now being reconstructed and improved as part of the federal-funded Comfortable Urban Improvement Program and the Governor’s Actual Accomplishements Program, Southern Urals Government’s press department reports.

The Governor spoke very highly of the reconstruction projects and pointed out that infrastructure development in the local towns and villages was the government’s top priority.

For one, Governor Dubrovsky went to Aloye Pole Park that is being reconstructed according to a project selected specifically by District Tsentralny’s residents. The reconstruction involves reintroduction of walking paths and putting up recreation spots for adults and children. Additionally, lighting fixtures will get reinforced and improved, and benches, litter bins, and mobile toilets will get installed in the park. The project is expected to get commissioned next year.
