UrBC, Chelyabinsk, October 22, 2018. Actual Accomplishments, a project coordinated by Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Boris Dubrovsky, is currently being implemented in District Nagaybaksky: the area’s long-term water supply problems are finally over, Southern Urals Government’s Press Service & Information Department reports.

The local authorities also keep working to improve their settlements’ infrastructure and create better living conditions for the locals.

‘Actual Accomplishments are in full progress in Chelyabinsk Region. I decided to allocate even more funding for the project next year to make sure we can work on urgent local problems. Our goal is to offer the people as much comfort and convenience as possible, so the specific issues we focus on need to be talked over with the locals and dealt with based on their wishes; this is the key point to bear in mind next year and the following three years as well,’ Governor Dubrovsky said.

In District Nagaybaksky alone, Actual Accomplishments helped finally solve the area’s water supply problem: the district council received over RUR 1.5m to put up and launch a new well in Gubmeysky and to repair a faulty section of the water supply system in Petrovsky

‘Additionally, the central water supply system in Severny underwent a major overhaul. An accident in February left the entire settlement out of water. We managed to put up a temporary piping fixture on our own then, and using the Governor’s funding we had the entire section fixed properly in the summer,’ says Mayor of Severny Vitaliy Gaisin.
