FIFA Expert Inspects Yekaterinburg Arena

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 13, 2017. The FIFA stadium and infrastructure consultant Charles Botta paid a visit to the construction site of Yekaterinburg Arena, the stadium that Sinara Group’s Sinara Development is to get rebuild in time for the world football championship of 2018, the Group’s press service reports.
Sinara Development Director-General Timur Ufimtsev made a report on the reconstruction process. Botta inspected the entire site, including the spectator stands, the roof, the facade part, the peripheral structures, and the rooms under the stands. He focused closely on the football pitch and checked wether the engineering infrastructure had been set up to ensure the pitch could be operated smoothly. The expert also looked at the designs developed for the primary rooms and sections and spoke favorably of the southern stand’s interior.
‘Most of the sophisticated technical jobs relating to putting up the stadium’s basic outline have by now been completed. We are currently working on interior finish and setting up the infrastructure needed for the rooms under the spectator stands. We are quite confident that the entire project will get commissioned on schedule,’ Ufimtsev said.
