UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 17, 2017. Players from Ural Football Club paid their first visit to the site of Yekaterinburg Arena; the stadium is currently being rebuilt by Sinara Development in time for the world football championship of 2018, Sinara Group’s press service reports.

All the key players, coaches, and the club management, including President Grigory Ivanov, came to their future games location.

‘Sinara Development’s Director-General Timur Ufimtsev told the visitors about the construction progress and about the stadium’s technical parameters. The footballers took a stroll around the site perimeter and looked at the structure contours and the rooms located under the spectator stands: mixing area, locker rooms, showers, and managers’ rooms,’ the press service says.

In response to the sports players’ questions regarding the pitch, Ufimtsev said that they were planning to start working on the lawn in July. The pitch will meet all of the FIFA requirements, with the first try-out games scheduled for April 2018.
