17 July 2015 (18:22)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 17, 2015. Director-General of Tominsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise (a member enterprise of Russian Copper Company) Valeriy Ulanovsky met a group of locals from Tomino, the village whose residents need to be relocated in order for Tominsky to be built.

‘The purpose of the meeting is to provide the locals once again with information on how the relocation will proceed. Our best professionals will be invited to work with the complex real estate issues at hand. Our company hired a team of Chelyabinsk-based estate agents who will be finding new homes for those willing to move, and an evaluating company which will help those who only want to sell their land allotments to us. We have spoken with every resident in person; so far, fourteen proprietors are willing to sell their homes (with 22 people registered there altogether), four proprietors intend to sell their land allotments without any buildings on them, and forty-one people decided to move house within Sosnovsky District,’ Russian Copper Company’s press service says.

All the bits of property will get evaluated by September. A preliminary relocation schedule has been developed and now gets regularly updated.
‘We intend to be on good terms on with the locals, this is a three-decade project, so good neighbor relationship is key to our success in the area,’ Ulanovsky says.
