Russian Copper Company Meets With Tominsky GOK Opponents

UrBC, Chelyabinsk, November 15, 2017. The management of Russian Copper Company met with the social activists Sergey Belogorkov and Vassily Moskovetz, who protest against the construction of Tominsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise in the area, the company press service reports.
President of Russian Copper Company Vsevolod Levin, Vice President for Environmental & Industrial Safety Natalia Gonchar, and Vice President for Legal Issues, Corporate Relations, & Special Projects Oleg Medvedev attended the meeting on the investor company’s behalf.
The two parties talked about all the vital issues relating to the project. Russian Copper Company representatives pointed out that Tominsky GOK Project had all the necessary approvals from state examination boards and construction permits.
The company also confirmed they were planning to reclaim Korkinsky Mine using the filling material from Tominsky GOK’s processing plant’s tailings.
