June 18, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Corporation is one of the 28 Russian companies that are taking part in Eurosatory 2014, the international arms, security technologies, and protection devices exhibition in Paris, the corporation’s press service reports.

In Paris, the holding presented the military vehicles made at two of its member enterprises, Nizhniy Tagil-based Uralvagonzavod and Omsk-based KBTM. The stand features TOS-1A combat vehicle, TMM-6 mechanized bridge, a bridge-laying vehicle, IMR-3M counterobstacle vehicle, and BREM-3M armored recovery vehicle made by KBTM.

‘Visitors and exponents took a particular interest in the Terminator, T-90SM, and Terminator 2, all of which are based on the T-72 tank. These makes are special in that they represent exact small-scale copies of life-size vehicles that can be operated remotely. The corporation’s stand was also fitted with 3D monitors where one could see stereoscopic images of military vehicles even without special glasses,’ the corporation says.

Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s Director-General Oleg Sienko held a series of meetings with the corporation’s European partners on the first day of the exhibition. The meetings were dedicated to talking about the two parties’ cooperation prospects.
