October 4, 2013. Students and faculty from Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, a member of ChTPZ Group) Education Center keep working with the well-known public-art artist Nikolai Polissky. The two parties are designing a ‘building’ with the working title of Fiber Optics. This project is being implemented within the framework of a larger program dedicated to the opening of Palace of New Culture in Pervouralsk, ChTPZ Group’s press service says.
The latest meeting’s agenda covered the artist going over the details of the future project with the working team and presenting all the layouts and sketches created after the previous meeting’s talk.
In the summer, when Polissky paid his first visit to Pervouralsk, a working team of local young enthusiasts was set up. They showed the artist around town, took him to the most famous landmarks and talked about the concept of their future art object. The group singled out the most peculiar and unique urban spots and decided on a place where their object would be located: an alley in Vatutin St.
