November 20, 2013. The second session of the City Code Project was finished off with a photo shoot at the Iron Ozone 32, an electric steel-smelting facility. This means that the partnership project of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ, a member of ChTPZ Group) on the creation of the world’s first cinemap in the web-doc format is now complete, ChTPZ Group’s press service reports.
The City Code TV project is now being implemented by PNTZ and Pervouralsk New Culture Palace with some support from the Russian Ministry of Culture. The videos, filmed by ‘stalkers’, are based on the deeply personal storylines and the main characters’ feelings relating to their native town rather than on the traditional stereotypes associated with Pervouralsk. It is the people, their everyday actions, and spots that have a special place in their hearts that create the special emotional background of the city and make it unique. Very soon, the video sketches of this small town in the Urals will be available online. For one, the cinemap will feature episodes on the People’s House, Zhemchuzhina Rehabilitation Center, and Pervouralsk car station.
‘The outcome of the second filming session is amazing. The cinemap got more than 200 new episodes added to it. PNTZ scenes are an important part of this map. For one, the process of pipe manufacturing is quite a spectacle. I am positive that the shoots from PNTZ departments are going to become some of the cinemap’s central pieces,’ says the project coordinator and producer Anna Selyanina.
