September 16, 2013. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) was among the top ten most dynamically and stably developing production companies in Russia.

The company reports that this has to do with MMK’s technical upgrades policy: the company built a number of major production facilities with advanced metallurgical technologies, including the modern, highly productive section facility, a very new electric steel-smelting set, a unique unit for making plate steel (Mill5000 plus a secondary refining unit), and a unit for making good quality automobile body sheets (Mill2000).

The rating of the most dynamically and stably developing companies and banks in the first half of 2013 was created by the Economic News Agency. The research was done by experts from the agency, Russia’s Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Association of Russian Banks, the All-Russian Union of Insurers, and NAUFOR, and heads and experts from the media community, from analytical centers, large private companies and NGOs.
