February 11, 2013. Renowned sports players and Russian State Duma deputies — the Olympics free callisthenics champion Alina Kabayeva and the former world boxing champion in the super heavyweight category Nikolai Valuyev attended the closing ceremony of Ural Federal District’s Female Boxing Championship coordinated in Nizhniy Tagil by Natalia Ragozina. These honorary guests took part in the awarding ceremony and paid a visit to Uralvagonzavod’s famous armored vehicles museum, Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s press officer reports.

The world professional female boxing championship was held in Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s Sputnik Gym; the corporation acted as the main sponsor of the event. Natalia Ragozina thanked the company for the support and admitted that the championship was a great opportunity to share her experience, knowledge, and skills to the younger Urals-based sportsmen and women.

‘I love Nizhniy Tagil, I love the Urals. This is where I started my career. This is my past that can never be left behind, this is my life! This is why I would like this Ural championship to become a regular, an annual event. I believe this is how it’s going to be,’ Ragozina said.
