MegaFon Offers Web Interface Access to Radar

February 8, 2013. MegaFon increased its Radar service’s potential by offering its subscribers web interface access to the service. The location of a MegaFon subscriber that one is interested in can now be traced not only via a mobile app or an MMS but also via a special website, the company’s press service reports.

Radar is an easy way to find out about the location of your children, friends, parents or loved ones without having to bother them with untimely phone calls. Thanks to the service’s new options, tracking the location and movements of the nearest and dearest is getting ever more convenient. A user can use any computer with an Internet access to go to radar.megafon.ru and see the location of another MegaFon subscriber on a map, the press release says.

‘Every day, we keep on working on supporting the quality and expanding the potential of the services we offer to MegaFon customers. Radar is popular with those subscribers who care about their relatives and want to know their whereabouts. Now this information is available not only from the phone display but also from any computer with an Internet connection. What is more, the new interactive map has much more to offer – our users can now set their own Radar settings in order to find the nearest restaurant, a vet clinic, or the police station by simply clicking on the category they need,’ says MegaLabs M2M and Geo Services Director Evgeny Nekrasov.
