The shareholders of Electrometallurgical Industrial Complex of Chelyabinsk JSC will receive no dividend for 2005; such was the decision made at the company’s annual general meeting on June 29, 2006. The attendees also approved of the company’s annual report for 2005 and of the accounting report, including the profit and loss statement. They agreed to pass a dividend for 2005 as well. The shareholders elected seven Members of the Board (Yuriy Antipov, Vladimir Karnoukhov, Igor Katsina, Alexander Kretov, Pavel Khodorovskiy, Alexander Sheikin, Sergey Varlamov), and the inspection committee.

Net profit of Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Magnitogorsk goes down by 10.8% in January to June 2006

The net profit of Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Magnitogorsk JSC has come to 15.525 billion RUR in the first six months of 2006, which is 10.8% less than in January to June 2005 (17.410 billion), says the company’s report. The complex has made 72.3bn RUR within the given period, with the prime cost going up by 2.9% (from 49.654bn to 51.110bn); the company’s pre-tax profit has gone down from 23.122bn to 20.600bn RUR.

Three new magnetic filters have recently been installed at the processing shop of Vanadium Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise of Kachkanar (part of Evraz Group), which is part of the complex renovation program. The enterprise bought 15 new magnetic filters made by Rudgormash of Voronezh at the beginning of March.
