According to the spokesperson for Evraz Group, a two-week overhaul of a transporter crane was completed in Abagurskiy subsidiary of Evrazruda (Russian ore maker and part of Evraz Group). The employees of Sibspetsremont (the company’s contractor) restored the weld seams of the beams used for the grab car track, fitted the equipment with some fortifying elements, repaired the joints of bolts and clenches and fixed the shaky frame. Prior to the overhaul, experts of Sibproektstalkonstruktsiya examined the metal parts of the crane, came up with a list of faulty elements, and drew up all the papers needed. They also kept track of the quality of the repair process all the way through.

While the overhaul was being given to the crane, all the ore was delivered to the sintering plant with the help of a car dumper and two excavators. The overhaul is expected to make sure the subsidiary’s reclaimer operations can go on smoothly and uninterruptedly, which, in its turn, ensures the stable performance of the whole subsidiary.
