Vanadium Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise completes assembling Cavex-Warman hydrocyclone unit

16 November 2006 (12:56)

Vanadium Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise (part of Evraz Group) completed the assembling of their new Cavex-Warman hydrocyclone unit made in the UK.

The unit was acquired and assembled within the framework of upgrading the ore pretreatment technology program; the emphasis is laid upon the replacement of obsolete equipment. The new machine has been installed at technological station 20 of the processing shop. This is an experimental department of the shop, equipped with the modern separator with increased magnetic induction.

The testing of this new hydrocyclone unit is expected to take about one month. Experts believe that fitting the processing shop with the new equipment will provide for greater production output, lower costs and better quality of the product, says the press officer for Evraz Group.
