The technicians of Vysokogorskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise JSC (part of Evraz Group) started renovating the section of wet magnetic separation with installing the separators; the new Cavex Warman washing cyclones, Sandvik breakers (made in Sweden) and Derriсk tumblers (made in the U.S.) will be added to the rest of the equipment as well.

This renovation has been scheduled within the framework of the company’s development program up to 2015; the program gives top priority to modernizing the processing facilities, which will begin with upgrading the equipment of Vysokogorskaya and Kushvinskaya production sites.

Investing into the corporate processing equipment should allow the company to reduce production costs due to the processing getting much more efficient. It will also improve the quality of the produce and provide for less iron loss in the final tailings, reports the spokesperson for Vysokogorskiy Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise.
