The new Test Tower Unit was put into operation at the processing shop of Vanadium ore mining and processing enterprise of Kachkanar (part of Evraz Group); the unit is meant for defining the iron content in the ore and as well as for determining its fineness.

The project was designed and developed by the experts of a planning and design office in cooperation with the company’s Quality Management Department. This is why this unit is genuinely unique and fully adapted to the production specifications of the enterprise.

Vanadium JSC is also hoping to create analogous units for sampling of pellets and sintered ore.

Says the company’s Managing Director Viktor Rybkin: ‘One cannot manage production and process such enormous amounts of ore without knowing everything about its quality. We have to provide for the economical and stable performance of the whole enterprise.’
