Raspadskaya Mine Extracts 2,000,000,000 kg of Coal

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 16, 2020. Miners at EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Raspadskaya Mine have extracted 2,000,000,000 kg of coal since the start of the year so far.
According to the company’s press service, three mining teams and six developing ones contributed to this achievement. Alexei Ivanov’s team from Section 17, with its 690,000,000 kg of coal, proved especially successful.
Vadim Sychev’s team from Section 10 extracted 650,000,000 kg of coal and Andrei Kireyev’s team from Section 1 extracted 550,000,000 kg of coal. Drifters working on new coalfaces also produced another 110,000,000 kg as they went.
According to EVRAZ Holding’s representatives, Raspadskaya Mine makes a special focus on industrial safety. The company relies increasingly more on IT and works on investment projects that aim to boost production and ensure safer working conditions.
