EVRAZ Gets New Vehicles for Mines

3 February 2020 (09:20)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 3, 2020. Three new crew vehicles meant for employee transfer arrived at EVRAZ Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Alardinskaya Mine last month.

The buses were custom-made at Ural Automotive Plant in full compliance with Raspadskaya Coal Company’s new standards. The buses have a reinforced frame, high-visibility lamps instead of regular rotating warning lights, additional front fog lights, and seats with three-point seat belts.

‘Four dashboard cameras facing the road, the driver’s seat, the inside of the bus, and the rear help prevent/detect problems to do with the safety rule violations. The data from the cameras get displayed on the company management’s computer screens online,’ says EVRAZ Holding’s PR Department.

Raspadskaya Coal Company declared the year 2020 the Road Safety Year. The company intends to get more new buses for employee transfer at every one of its member enterprises. For one, new crew vehicles arrived at Southern Kuzbass geological survey unit in January as well.

Alardinskaya Mine and Southern Kuzbass geological survey unit both get controlled by Raspadskaya Coal Company, which acts as the managing company for EVRAZ Holding’s coal-mining assets.
