EVRAZ KGOK Gets 11 New Vehicles

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 4, 2020. EVRAZ Kachkanarsky Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise (EVRAZ KGOK) purchased 11 new buses as part of the miners’ safety enhancing program, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Communications Center reports.

The company invested some RUB 30m in ensuring safer employee transfer.

Five modern GAZon Next buses, four Ural crew vehicles, and two PAZ units got purchased by KGOK all in all.

Ural buses are fit for twenty passengers and are fitted with a four-camera video surveillance system that displays the view of the road, the inside of the bus, and the rear on the driver’s monitor. The vehicle also has a reinforced framework and underwent crash tests at the manufacturing plant.

Additionally, all the existing buses have been fitted with high-back seats with three-point seat belts.

‘The new vehicles are comfortable and safe and help prevent injuries. The goal is to make sure our workers get back safely to their families after their shift,’ says Vice President at EVRAZ and head of the company’s Ural division Denis Novozhenov.
