UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 26, 2019. Sverdlovsk Region division of the State Expert Review Panel (aka Gosekspertiza) approved of the project on the construction of the second road junction extension in Serafima Deryabina St/Yekaterinburg Orbital Ring-Road; the department gave its full approval of the project.

The next step is to actually build the second extension to the junction that will streamline the traffic waves intersecting at the ring road. The goal is provide an overhead road for the transit vehicles on Yekaterinburg Orbital Ring-Road.

Under the terms of the project adopted by Gosekspertiza, the overhead road will be 430 meters long and will transfer a section of Yekaterinburg Orbital Ring-Road onto a higher tier of the junction. The road will comprise two parallel bridges 16.75 meters wide to separate oncoming lines of traffic. The main components will be made from reinforced concrete, the bearing parts will consist of 14 supports and 13 spans (each one made from nine 33-meter-long stringers). The overhead road will be located at least five meters above the lower sections of the road.
