UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 31, 2019. Expert-Ural Analytical Center carried a rating of the Urals and Western Siberia’s 400 largest companies in 2018; OOO FORES came 160th in the rating, the company’s press service reports.

‘The rating is based on the businesses’ official statistical data on last year’s sales. According to these data, OOO FORES, with its RUB 13.7bn worth of industrial produce sales, was a little behind UralAsbest (RUB 13.9bn worth of sales, No. 159 in the rating) and ahead of Ural Pipe Plant (RUB 13bn worth of sales, No. 161 in the rating). At the same time, FORES’s net profit (RUB 374m) was considerably (by RUB 185m) below that of UralAsbest (RUB 559m),’ the press service says.

‘These performance indicators for the year 2018 clearly point to our strategical choices last year. The company keeps seeing sustainable development as its top priority, which is exactly why the better part of the earlier years’ profits got directed to production and environmental upgrades. By being flexible with prices, we manage to retain stable demand for our produce and to keep existing as well as create new jobs, which means we are still supporting the economy of smaller Ural towns where our plants operate,’ says OOO FORES’s Executive Director Mikhail Lovkov.

OOO FORES runs branches in Asbest, Sukhoi Log, Kamensk-Uralsky, and Kuryi, Sverdlovsk Region.
