May 15, 2014. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works was the 5th in the 'anniversary' 10th rating of the largest exporters in the Urals and Western Siberia. The rating was carried by Expert-Ural Magazine based on the data for 2013.

The annual rating of one hundred largest exporters is based on the data relating to the export activity of companies based in Sverdlovsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region, Orenburg Region, Kurgan Region, Tyumen Region (including its autonomous districts), Perm Territory, Bashkortostan, and Udmurtia. The rating features businesses not only from the production sector but also from the tertiary sector. A separate rating comprises 40 largest divisions of national holdings whose headquarters are located outside the Urals and Western Siberia and production facilities are run all over the country.

The Top100 Exporters rating ranges companies on the basis of their export revenues in US dollars, excluding the data on exports to the Customs Union member states. The rating analysts operate with the foreign trade statistics and the data the companies themselves provide through questionnaires or issuers' reports.
