4 February 2020 (09:35)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 4, 2020. OOO FORES’s Asbest branch introduced a new job safety induction format in December 2019, the company’s press service reports.
The company employees now get to watch a specially designed video manual.
‘We came to appreciate the advantages of this new format in the last thirty days. Video instructions save time and produce better results,’ says Job Safety & Industrial Safety Director at OOO FORES’s Asbest branch Elena Bogubayeva.
‘The induction videos are meant for the newcomers just entering the workplace. The thirty-minute video introduces the new employees to the production sites and the plant’s managers, presents possible work situations, and dwells on the guarantee package provided by the employer. Once the video has been watched, the new employee signs the job safety induction form,’ the company says.
A similar video was created for FORES’s Sukhoi Log branch earlier; this one has been around for six months now. The plan is to make the job safety induction videos for FORES’s branches in Kamensk-Uralsky and Kuryi in the near future as well.
