Ural Electrochemical Combine Among Urals’ Top 100 Companies

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 7, 2017. Rosatom TVEL’s Novouralsk-based asset Ural Electrochemical Combine was among the Urals and Western Siberia’s top hundred companies in terms of sales output last year, the company press service refers to EXPERT Analytical Center’s rating as indicating.

The rating is based on the federal Expert 400 Rating PwC-approved technology and features four hundred major companies based in the Urals and Western Siberia (Sverdlovsk Oblast, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Kurgan Oblast, Orenburg Oblast, Tyumen Oblast, Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Region, Yamalo-Nenetsky Autonomous Region, Perm Territory, Bashkorstostan, and Udmurtia). The rating includes companies operating in all sectors of the national economy.

The positing in the rating depends on the overall amount of goods or services sold in 2016. Ural Electrochemical Combine was given the 98th position in the rating (sales output: RUR 22.907bn).

According to the company’s Director-General Alexander Belousov, the plant has no plans of production expansion but is trying to reduce costs through equipment upgrades and infrastructure development.
