FORES to Host Rosprirodnadzor’s Inspection
24 October 2019 (09:07)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 24, 2019. The Federal Service for Supervision of Nature Resources (Rosprirodnadzor) started its scheduled audit of OOO FORES on October 23, 2019, the company’s press service reports.
‘There are over thirty auditors, including a number of officials from Nizhniy Tagil and experts from the certified Centre of Laboratory Analysis and Technical Metrology in Ural Federal District, to complete the inspection,’ the press service says.
The federal state environmental surveillance audit is meant to determine whether the company manages to comply with the Russian environmental protection and natural resource use regulations and whether all the license requirements get met. This includes taking samples from emission sources and testing them for pollutant content, as well as testing samples of various kinds of waste collected from production sites. Experts will keep working through November 20.
‘FORES’s own environmental monitoring findings indicate that the equipment performs as intended and all the environmental regulations are complied with. We also make some efforts in other fields. Yet external, state-coordinated audits are stressful, and the auditors are always very rigid and particular about things, so our branches, quite understandably, feel anxious about the upcoming inspection,’ says FORES’s Senior Environmental Experts Tatyana Sarapultseva.
