UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 18, 2019. OOO FORES’s Kuryi branch keeps working on its environmental monitoring program, the company’s press service reports.

The company says the quality of air on the premises of and next to the company’s Kuryi branch met all the normative requirements as of last summer. The official protocols from Lab Test & Measurement Center (CLATI) branch in Ural Federal District that FORES received in September confirm this.

Now the air samples got collected on the border of FORES Kuryi sanitary protection area and in the nearby residential sections of Kuryi in June, July and August; the samples got tested for dust content.

According to FORES, the testing of the samples helped determine that the non-organic dust content on the monitoring/sampling days remained five to ten times below the maximum permissible discharge limits.

Another authorized laboratory also confirmed the efficiency of the plant’s dust-trapping and gas-filtering facilities earlier; the lab took air samples for testing in July and August.
