UrBC, Chelyabinsk, October 22, 2019. Gleb Gorbunov was appointed Director of First Freight Company’s Chelyabinsk branch, the freight forwarder’s press service reports.

Prior to this new appointment, Gorbunov worked as the company’s First Deputy Head of Shipping Department.

‘The branch’s former head Vladimir Terekhov decided to retire yet intends to support Gleb Gorbunov during his induction time as Advisor to Director of First Freight Company’s Chelyabinsk Division,’ the press service says.

Gleb Gorbunov graduated from Russian State Open Technical Railway University with a degree in Shipping Arrangements & Rail Transportation Management in 1998. He started his professional career at Moscow Railways as an acceptance/delivery agent in 1987 and was eventually promoted to head of Lyublino-Sortirovochnoye Station.

In 2004, Gorbunov moved on to Russian Railways’ Department for Liaising with the CIS Member States and was promoted to head of Station Technologies at Central Traffic Control Directorate in 2005. Gorbunov worked for SIBUR Holding in 2009-2012, then joined First Freight Company and was appointed First Deputy Head of Shipping Department in 2015.
