27 June 2019 (09:57)
UrBC, Magnitogorsk, June 27, 2019. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) managers completed a six-month special course on talent development offered by the Stockholm School of Economics through Personal In-Company Cadre Training Center. The training program was a bespoke course designed specially for the MMK management.
According to MMK’s Information, PR & Advertising Department, the Stockholm School of Economics is one of the world’s best-reputed learning venues and a business school leader on the global market. MMK has been collaborating with the school for some years now, even though only two to three managers used to take up courses at the SSE at a time. As few as twenty-seven MMK employees have obtained SSE diplomas by 2019; this year, as many as thirty workers have completed the course.
MMK Group keeps investing in personnel training based on a range of learning courses in order to boost its workers’ and talent pool’s professional skills. In 2018, 12,756 employees completed a series of courses, with MMK directing more than RUB 100m to the purpose. The Group has been collaborating with Russia’s leading business schools and schools of economics within the framework of MBA programs. It is the cadre training that the strategic initiative on using the employee potential and enhancing MMK’s operational efficiency (part of the company’s Development Strategy for 2019-2025) aims at.
