Raspadskaya Coal Company Sets New Record

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 11, 2019. EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Coal Company recently set a monthly shipment record, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Communications Center reports.
Raspadskaya Coal Company shipped 1,720,000,000 kg of coal to customers in May; this exceeded the figures for one year earlier by nearly 300,000,000 kg.
‘The company’s previous record was set in October 2017, when 1,590,000,000 kg of coal got shipped to customers. All of the company’s departments worked smoothly together, including Kuznetskpogruztrans, Tomusinskaya Station’s Yuzhkuzbassugol, and EvrazHolding Trading Company. The company shipped all of the customers’ orders in time and in full, including shipments to the Far East and - for the first time - to Baltic ports and to Kazakhstan,’ says Raspadskaya Coal Company’s Sales Director Roman Kryzhanovsky.
More than 800 loaded railcars (some 12 rounds of shipments) went from Raspadskaya Coal Company’s sites to customers every day on average in May.
‘Raspadskaya Coal Company supplies coal to the majority of the leading metallurgical and coke-chemical enterprises in Russia and the CIS member states, as well as to customers in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. The wide range of produce on offer includes all the primary coking coal varieties. In 2018, the company produced 23,000,000,000 kg of coal and sold more than 16,600,000,000 kg,’ Raspadskaya Coal Company says.
