UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 26, 2017. Rustam Muminov’s team from EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Mine in Kemerovo Region has produced 2,000,000,000 kg of coal since the start of the year, EVRAZ Holding’s press service reports.

This was the first team to reach this output level in Raspadskaya Coal Company this year.

‘Rustam Muminov’s team is one of Raspadskaya Mine’s best performers; they always have great production output figures and work smoothly and accident-free. We need to keep up with this tempo in order to meet our coal production target figures for this year,’ says Director of Raspadskaya Mine Nikolay Kigalov.

These 2,000,000,000 kg of coal got extracted from Long-Face 4-10-29 with the help of Bucyrus, a modern shearer-loader. The coal bench is 1.7m to 1.9m thick. All the preparatory jobs were done in full compliance with the industrial safety and job safety standards, and all the gas-suction and ventilation procedures were carried out properly.

Raspadskaya Mine produces valuable GZh coal that is quite popular with both Russian and foreign customers. Once it gets processed at Raspadskaya Plant, the coal concentrate gets delivered to metallurgical and coke-chemical enterprises in Russia, Ukraine, and Southeast Asia.
