11 December 2018 (10:01)

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 11, 2018. EVRAZ Holding’s Raspadskaya Mine set a new month record in November, when the mine’s coal output reached 806,000,000 kg (the target figure was actually 684,000,000 kg). This is the best month’s output among all of Raspadskaya Coal Company’s assets.

According to the company's press service, this is the first time in the last eight years Raspadskaya Mine proved so productive. Sections 1 (head: Andrei Sokolov), 10 (head: Alexei Fisenko), and 17 (head: Sergey Vassilyev) made a particularly great contribution to the overall success. The stoping teams worked on three different long-faces at once (sections 10, 7-7а, and 6-6а) and produced 752,000 kg of coke coal.

The sinking equipment operators also did quite well in November, preparing 2,197 meters of mine for further work and producing 54,000,000 kg as well.

Raspadskaya Mine gets managed by Raspadskaya Coal Company and makes high quality GZh coke coal. After it gets processed at the mine’s processing plant, the coal gets delivered onto metallurgical and coke-chemical companies in Russia, Ukraine, and Southeast Asia.
