Ural Federal District Has 11% More Crisis-Hit Locals Than Russia On The Whole

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 29, 2019. 79% of people living in Ural Federal District say they have been hit by Russia’s ongoing economic downfall; this is 11% more than the country’s average (68%), Public Opinion Foundation’s research findings indicate.
According to the research, only 14% of Ural Federal District-based Russians feel there’s no crisis in Russia whatsoever. In the country on the whole, the figure is 20%.
As for the country’s future prospects, 24% of locals believe the downfall trend will keep gaining momentum; 8% hope for improvements; 4% believe in complete recovery; 20% feel things will remain as they are. In Russia on the whole, the figures are 19%, 6%, 2%, and 27%, respectively.
