Ural Federal District: Cars 12.5 Years Old on Average

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 6, 2019. The automobiles driven in Ural Federal District's constituencies are 12.5 years old on average, Avtostat reports.

'Depending on a particular federal district, the number varies greatly throughout the country. In four of Russia's federal districts, cars are, on average, several years 'younger' than in the country overall,' the agency says.

As for Ural Federal District, local cars are, on average, 12.5 years old; for Central Federal District, the number is 12.2 years, for Volga Federal District, North-Western Federal District, Southern Federal District, North Caucasian Federal District, the numbers come, respectively, to 11.9 years, 13 years, 13.7 years, and 14.4 years. In Siberia and the Far East, cars are, respectively, 16.3 and 19.9 years old on average.

The country's average comes to 13.4 years, experts announced in the summer of 2019.
