Design Documentation Ready for New Medical Cluster in Yekaterinburg

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 26, 2018. The design documentation has been prepared for a set of medical facilities and Ural State Medical University campus in Yekaterinburg’s District
Akademicheskiy; the documents have been worked on by the local developer RSG-Akademicheskoye (KORTROS) in cooperation with the university experts.
‘The concept is to ensure the ongoing unity of education, medical treatment, and scientific research. The campus will comprise teaching/training blocks, USMU E-University facility, a simulation/accreditation center, a research block, a diagnostics center, a university multi-clinic, and a dental clinic,’ RSG-Akademicheskoye’s press service reports.
The papers have been placed with Russia’s Healthcare Ministry; as soon as they have been approved by the ministry, KORTROS will use its own funds to do all the design work and obtain a state board of experts’ examination and permit and will then hand the ready project to the government as part of their public-private partnership agreement.
‘In addition to the teaching facilities, USMU’s new campus will also house student accommodation. The developer is already working on apartment buildings in Quarters 9 and 10 of District Akademicheskiy. One of the buildings will get commissioned by the end of the year,’ the press service says.
