UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 10, 2018. Sinara Group’s Sinara Development completed all the basics assembly jobs at Yekaterinburg Arena, one of the stadiums soon to host the World Cup 2018, the Group’s PR Center reports.

Rostechnadzor certified the building for compliance with all the technical requirements and design documentation on December 29, 2017.

The new stadium is fit for 35,000 visitors. The building relies on the most up-to-date engineering solutions and technologies. The project is unique in that the reconstruction kept all the cultural heritage objects intact. Moreover, over 4,000 m2 of historic walls and architectural pieces from the fifties (bas-reliefs, sculptures, stucco ornaments) were recreated.

‘This sports facility is fitted with a dependable security and video surveillance system. There is also a number of navigation units in place that is based on universal, internationally recognized signs. The inner spaces are fully ready for both spectators and sports players. There are spacious and functional locker rooms with all the equipment for footballers, all kinds of seats at the spectator stands (including wheelchair-adjusted ones and fortified seats that can hold 120kg or more), and 26 heavy-duty elevators. You can also see sky boxes and VIP stands there, as well as a broadcasters’ unit, a press room, and a number of offices. All the premises around the stadium have been turned into a sports and recreation area for locals and visitors,’ the PR Center says.
