23 August 2017 (13:12)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 23, 2017. Sinara Group’s Sinara Development, the general contractor for the reconstruction of Yekaterinburg Stadium in time for the World Cup 2018, is now working to get spectator seats installed in the arena, Sinara Group’s PR Center reports.
‘The stadium will be fitted with vandalism-proof ergonomic plastic seats made from ultraviolet-resistant, corrosion-resistant, cold- and heat-resistant, fireproof materials. All seats got certified for compliance with fire safety, sanitary safety, and overall security requirements. There will be various seat types in the spectator zones: two tiers of collapsible seats in the eastern and western sectors of the stadium (along with wheelchair-enabled seats, seats complemented with small desks for reporters, and fortified seats strong enough for 120 kg + load) and both collapsible and regular ergonomic seats in the northern and southern sectors,’ the PR Center says.
According to Sinara Development’s Director-General Timur Ufimtsev, all seats will get assembled by the end of September.
‘Most of them will be orange-colored, while enhanced comfort seats will be black. There will be 35,000 seats all in all,’ Ufimtsev said.
