EVRAZ ZSMK Makes Fittings for Poland, Netherlands

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 24, 2017. EVRAZ Holding’s West Siberian Integrated Metallurgical Works (ZSMK) now makes B500B fittings (diameter: 12 mm to 40 mm) for customers in Poland and the Netherlands, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s press office reports.
The fittings with the all-purpose strength grade 500 MPA enjoys good demand on the European rolled goods market.
‘We carried out a number of all-round tests and trials to check the fittings’ operational parameters. The produce got tested by the two certification bodies Zetom (Poland) and KIWA (the Netherlands). The fittings proved highly efficient throughout all the tests and proved to comply with all the requirements set out by Poland’s PN EN 10080 Stal do zbrojenia betonu and the Netherlands’ BRL 0501 Steel for the reinforcement of concrete standards,’ the press office says.
EVRAZ ZSMK now offers its customers one of the widest ranges of fitting products in Russia as well as the world: fittings with strength grades from A240 to At1000 with ring-shaped, sickle-shaped, trilateral, screw-type, and four-sided sections. Now that the company proved to comply with the Polish and Dutch standards, it can export more of its products and build up on its share of the fittings market.
