UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 25, 2019. EVRAZ Holding supplied over 1,300,000 kg of A500C fittings onto the construction site for Smart School Education Center in Irkutsk. The metal units were used to make the foundation and walls of the innovative cluster, EVRAZ Holding Siberia’s Corporate Relations Center reports.

‘Our A500C fittings fully comply with all the international standards. This is the most popular fitting variety that has a longer lifespan due to thermal reinforcement. Our customers are quite happy with these two parameters,’ says EVRAZ EVRAZ Consolidated West-Siberian Metallurgical Plant (EVRAZ ZSMK) Managing Director Alexei Yuriev.

‘Putting up social infrastructure facilities is a project that requires special attention. Contributing to such a project means being particularly responsible about the delivery deadlines and produce quality,’ says EVRAZ Metall InProm’s Director-General Sergey Sintsov.

Now Smart School is a unique training cluster where children without parents can study together with all the other schoolchildren. The cluster will also comprise a number of houses for foster/adoptive families with their foster/adopted children, a kindergarten, an elementary school, a secondary school, a sports center, and a recreation facility. The school will open on September 1, 2019, welcoming more than a thousand children in.
