UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 2, 2017. ChTPZ Group supplied a set of hot-deformed pipes for the reconstruction of Dinamo Stadium in Minsk, Belarus. The pipes were delivered to Molodechnensky Plant, which is in charge of making metal structures for the building, the Group’s press service reports.

The shipment comprises 1,595,000 kg of hot-deformed pipes (diameter: 102 to 135 mm). The pipes, made at the Group’s Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant, will be used to make primary and secondary truss structures.

‘The Group fulfilled this order impressively fast and was chosen as the general pipe supplier for the Minsk stadium. The company has met 80% of the project’s overall pipe need and has delivered the entire batch onto the site by now,’ says ChTPZ Group’s CFO Denis Prikhodko.

The reconstruction will have been completed by 2018, upon which the stadium will meet the UEFA’s Class 4 requirements and will be classed as Belarus’s National Olympic Stadium.
