Yekaterinburg Orbital Motorway to Open on August 25

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 27, 2017. The second launching unit of Yekaterinburg Orbital Motorway’s southern half will get launched on August 25, 2017, Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department refers to Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Sergey Shvindt as saying.
Shvindt says all the building jobs planned for this year have been completed. This cost 256m RUR to do, including 204.8m RUR allocated from the national budget; the rest was supplied from the constituency’s budget.
He also made a report to Governor Evgeny Kuivashev on how the building and repairs of other roads in Sverdlovsk Region were progressing. For one, reconstructing the highway connecting Karpinsk and Kytlym is one of this year’s priority goals: an 18-kilometer-long road is to be put up there. Additionally, there should be built a junction at the intersection of Vtoraya Novosibirskaya St and Yekaterinburg Orbital Motorway and entry roads to Krasnoturyinsk and Verkhneye Dubrovo.
