Eterno to Make Split Tees for Gazprom
7 July 2017 (13:55)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, July 7, 2017. Gazprom confirmed a list of technical specifications for split tees ChTPZ Group’s and Rosnano’s joint venture Eterno is going to make for the company, the Group’s press service reports.
This import substitution product is meant for repairing and re-launching pipelines under working pressure of up to 9.8 MPA with no interruptions in the fuel transfer.
Prior to making a list of specifications, it was necessary to test the pilot samples for airtightness and structure strength; the tests proved that Eterno’s produce meets all of Gazprom’s requirements and is fully compatible with all the appliances Gazprom uses during hot tapping.
‘ChTPZ Group keeps working on import substitution products such as the pipes the company made for Gazprom’s Yuzhno-Kirinskoye natural gas deposit, the airtight premium threaded joints for pumping and compression pipes and casing pipes, and the ceramic flux that is used during welding. Now split tees are high tech items that only used to be available abroad until recently; now they are made at a Russian plant that produces good quality product (and does so in a short time) thanks to the use of up-to-date materials, technologies, and equipment,’ says ChTPZ Group’s Commercial Director Denis Prikhodko.
