UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 8, 2015. ChTPZ Group and Gazprom signed a cooperation agreement at the 5th Saint Petersburg International Natural Gas Forum. The document was signed by Gazprom Chairman of the Board Alexei Miller and ChTPZ Director-General Alexander Grubman. The two companies agreed to gradually switch ChTPZ fleet of automobiles to natural gas, of which Gazprom is a major supplier. The former is to help ChTPZ fit its vehicles with the necessary equipment, ChTPZ Group’s press service reports.

‘The Group usually contributes to all of Gazprom’s pipeline construction projects with its pipes and fittings. ChTPZ and Gazprom also think alike in terms of corporate social responsibility and environmental protection. The advantages of this new fuel are obvious: it’s greener and less expensive than the traditional kind. The memorandum proves once again that our two companies enjoy a mutually beneficial partnership,’ says ChTPZ DG Alexander Grubman.

In the meantime, the Group is also working on import-replacing items for Gazprom, such OCTGs with Premium threaded joints and large-diameter pipes made from the company’s own welding material, ceramic flux, and coated with Rosnano/Metaclay nano-modifed corrosion-resistant materials.
