UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 12, 2017. UBT-Ural Vagon Zavod’s daughter enterprise UBT-Service bought a number of new road vehicles, the company press service reports.

‘For one, we bought a new Scandia, a sweeping truck, to keep our streets clean. Prior to this, we purchased three new 20,000-kg dumper trucks, and two new loaders. The use of up-to-date vehicles and our team’s efforts result in one of Nizhniy Tagil’s largest road-building companies performing very efficiently in the urban improvements sector,’ the press service says.

UBT-Service repaired twelve different roads in Nizhniy Tagil last year, replacing the old asphalt, partially replacing the curbstones, and introducing lawns next to the roads. The company put in place 117,402 m2 worth of asphalt and 3,544 m of curbstone. In the winter, over 100,000,000 kg of snow got removed from the city streets, which was 2.5 times more than one year previously.

‘The company is currently in charge of Nizhniy Tagil’s Dzerzhinsky and Tagilstroyevsky Districts, the village of Staratel, and fifteen smaller settlements, including Verkhnyaya Oslyanka and Ust-Utka. We do not operate by ‘seasons’ but rather do whatever is necessary all the year round. At the moment, we are busy maintaining the roads with sweeping dust and fallen leaves and doing repair jobs where needed,’ the company says.
