EVRAZ NTMK Supplies Goods to Magadan

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 14, 2017. EVRAZ Holding’s Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) started supplying its L5 UM Larssen sheet piles to Magadan in February; the piles will be used to reconstruct the town’s sea port, EVRAZ Holding Ural reports.
NTMK is expected to deliver 3,000,000 kg of piles to the Far East by May.
‘Larssen sheet piles are NTMK’s unique development, as no other Russian company currently produces them. EVRAZ Holding started collaborating with the customer as early as at the design stage; our piles proved more competitive than other rolled products and were chosen by the design office as the key structure solution. This means the holding keeps expanding its Larssen sheet piles market,’ the company says.
It is reported that Larssen sheet piles are good quality products with enhances corrosion-resistant characteristics. The piles are used in sea ports to fortify port-sides and terminals as well as large-scale structures. For one, EVRAZ NTMK’s produce was used to put up sports facilities in Kazan, during Sochi Olympics, at Novovoronezhskaya Nuclear Power Plant 2, and for reconstructing Saint Petersburg embankments.
