UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 16, 2017. EVRAZ Holding’s Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) made a set of R50 rails (OT350) by order of United Company RUSAL. The rails will be used at the latter’s bauxite deposit in Guinea called Compagnie des Bauxites de Kindia, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s Corporate Relations Center reports.
The rails will be used to repair the railroad connecting the site to the sea port of Conakry that is used to transfer the bauxites from and deliver supplies to the deposit.
‘Africa is now one of the key export designations for EVRAZ rails. We deliver our produce to Egypt and Algeria as well,’ the company says.
